This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys with broad experience in international trade, customs, and export controls to support sophisticated in-house legal teams and drive critical business initiatives on a flexible secondment basis.About the RoleAttorneys on our bench may be engaged to provide support for:Advising on U.S. export controls under the EAR and ITAR, including classification, licensing, and end-use/end-user screeningGuiding compliance with economic sanctions programs administered by OFAC, as well as EU, UK, and other multilateral sanctions regimesAdvising on customs and import matters, including tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, duty mitigation, and CBP complianceNavigating Section 232, Section 301, IEEPA, and other tariff actions, including exclusion requests and supply chain impact analysisSupporting free trade agreement qualification and compliance (USMCA and other FTAs)Conducting internal investigations, voluntary self-disclosures, and responses to government inquiriesDeveloping, implementing, and auditing trade compliance programs, policies, and trainingReviewing trade-related provisions in commercial agreements, M&A due diligence, and CFIUS mattersCollaborating with supply chain, logistics, procurement, and outside counsel on specialized regulatory mattersQualifications8+ years of experience advising on international trade and regulatory compliance, including significant experience as part of a corporate in-house legal teamIn-depth knowledge of export control, sanctions, and customs regulatory frameworks (EAR, ITAR, OFAC, CBP)Strong familiarity with the evolving tariff landscape and its impact on global supply chainsExceptional analytical, drafting, and advisory skillsAbility xhyhwjd to work independently, provide practical business-aligned advice, and integrate seamlessly with client teamsJD from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdictionWhy Entrusted Advisors?Gain access to high-impact secondments with leading global manufacturing, technology, and consumer products clientsEnjoy the freedom and flexibility of project-based work with full-time supportCompetitive compensation and benefits availableBecome part of a growing, mission-driven legal services provider committed to empowering senior legal talent nationwide
