Diaz Painting, Inc. is hiring a Sales Estimator for residential and commercial painting projects in Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire. We are looking for someone who can earn a customer’s trust, prepare accurate estimates, and follow through until the customer makes a decision.

Success in this position takes more than sending quotes. You must stay organized, respond promptly, follow up consistently, and give our painting team clear information to complete the work.

The Position

This is a full-time, hourly position eligible for overtime pay. The regular schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid lunch and paid rest breaks.

You will work from the designated company office and travel to customer appointments. Internet access is provided at the office. Remote work requires management approval.

Your Responsibilities

• Respond to assigned sales inquiries by phone, text, and email during working hours.
• Contact every assigned lead, confirm appointments, and keep customers informed.
• Visit properties, take measurements and photos, and identify preparation and painting needs.
• Prepare clear estimates that accurately describe the work, materials, exclusions, and approved pricing.
• Explain proposals, answer questions, and follow up to earn the customer’s business without making promises the company cannot meet.
• Keep every lead updated with its status, conversation notes, and next follow-up date.
• Enter all estimates, approved jobs, customer details, and calendar updates in Jobber before the end of each workday.
• Coordinate with management and the painting team before confirming project start dates.
• Give the painting team complete job information, including scope, photos, access instructions, and customer expectations.
• Assist with incoming company calls and customer service when assigned.
• Refer pricing exceptions, complaints, scope changes, and scheduling conflicts to management. Report safety concerns or property damage immediately.

Required Company Systems

Use Jobber for customer records, estimates, schedules, job notes, and all work hours. Use Quo for business calls and conversational texts, and company Google Workspace Gmail for email.

Only company approved computers and devices may be used for work. Training on company systems will be provided. All work time must be recorded, including office work, customer visits, required training, and travel between work locations during the workday. No off-the-clock work is permitted.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in painting estimating, home improvement sales, construction estimating, or a closely related field.
• Understanding of surface preparation, painting methods, materials, and labor requirements.
• Clear communication and confidence discussing projects and pricing with customers.
• Consistent follow-through and the ability to manage multiple leads and deadlines.
• Comfort using mobile apps, email, calendars, and customer management software.
• Reliable transportation to the office and assigned customer appointments.
• Professional conduct and respect for customers, coworkers, and property.
