Job Title: Industrial Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician with a journeyman level of expertise and at least four years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a valid Virginia Driver's License and a good driving record, as well as knowledge of job site safety and preferably OSHA 10 or 30 certification. This role demands the ability to work 8 to 10 hours a day, 40 hours a week, with potential overtime. Candidates must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights of 50 feet or more. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic diagrams is essential, along with a solid understanding of NEC, Panels, Switchgear, MCC's, and Controls. Experience in installing rigid conduit and working collaboratively in a team environment is required, along with the ability to mentor less experienced personnel.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Install rigid conduit accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with NEC standards and job site safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Panels, Switchgear, MCC's, and Controls.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment and mentor less experienced personnel.
• Adapt to working in confined spaces and at heights of 50 feet or more.

The position operates Monday through Friday, requiring 8 to 10-hour workdays, regardless of weather conditions. Be prepared to work in varying environments, rain or shine.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
